Data stored in the app
SnipSnap stores your libraries, snip titles and descriptions, labels, imported media, and recognized text locally in the app’s storage. The developer does not receive this library content through the app.
Photos, files, and camera
SnipSnap uses the media you choose to import and camera access you authorize to create attachments. Imported media is copied into the app’s storage. Text recognition is performed on your device using Apple’s frameworks. You can change permissions in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
Accounts, tracking, and sharing
The current app does not require an account, include advertising or third-party analytics, or send your snips to a developer-operated server. The developer does not sell your app data or use it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Your library remains in the app until you delete its content or remove the app. You can delete snips and libraries within SnipSnap. Deleted libraries include their associated snips and imported media. Device backups may retain copies according to your backup settings; manage those copies with your backup provider.
